RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform monthly/annual inspections on fire suppression equipment for customers
Perform service and installation of suppression systems (wet and dry chemical as well as Firetrace)
Inspect and maintain portable fire extinguishers, air cylinders, fire hoses and other equipment
Track parts inventory
Keep your vehicle and service equipment well-maintained
Prepare quotes and write various reports
Offer customer service according to the companys expectations
Ensure to work safely and apply health and safety standards
Contribute to team efforts by performing any other related tasks
REQUIREMENTS
-High school diploma or diploma of college studies in fire prevention or equivalent
-1-2 years experience in a similar position or any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities
-Working knowledge of the NFPA and basic knowledge of fire safety standards and products
-Kidde, Ansul, Firetrace product knowledge as well as working knowledge of inspections and installation
-Strong mechanical background required (automotive, pneumatic and sprinkler)
-Ability to read plans, basic knowledge and ability in electricity and/or mechanics
-Bondable
-Physically fit, able to climb stairs and ladders, crawl in tight spaces, bend and kneel, and capable to move, lift and push loads of 50 lbs+
-Computer literate, knowledge of MS Office
-Class 5 drivers license with clean drivers abstract
-Mobility for travelling

- Test and adjust repaired products for proper functioning
- Repair or replace defective or worn parts and components
- Inspect products to determine the requirements for repair
- Calibrate products using hand tools
