Youth Mentor: provides mentoring, teaching, support, supervision, exceptional services and transportation to youth in care, or who are involved with Ministry of Social Services. These services include engaging youth in numerous areas to build better lives through economic independence, strong relationships and community involvement. Hours of this position are usually after school and evening.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Grade 12 or GED equivalent
A Life Skills Coach certificate and/or related training or experience would be an asset.
One-on-one counseling and/or group counseling experience would be an asset.
Criminal Record Check required
Register with Ministry of Social Services Child Abuse Registry
CPR/First Aid Certificate required
Saskatchewan Government Insurance Drivers License Abstract
Valid Drivers license and a reliable/insurable vehicle
