Description

Brandt is seeking a Systems Analyst to join our IT team in Regina, Saskatchewan.  The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining and monitoring existing enterprise infrastructure and applications.  

Responsibilities:
Maintain, support and extend existing core Microsoft platforms such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Exchange, Lync, Remote Desktop Services, Windows Update Services, and other Microsoft enterprise products.
Maintain and support Microsoft Hyper-V Clustered environment.
Perform ongoing performance tuning, upgrades and resource optimization to the existing infrastructure.
Provide design proposals for current and future Data Center initiatives.
Develop and maintain policies and procedures to ensure that a consistent and scalable framework is applied across the data center.
Work with vendors on evaluating new technology and solutions, and resolving any outstanding incidents and problems with systems already in use.
Provide advanced support to the service desk team and direct support to several internal teams for servers, storage and applications.
Mentor and coach team members.

Qualifications:

8+ years experience in IT infrastructure and application support with 3+ years in a role supporting core enterprise applications and infrastructure in a data center environment.
Relevant Post-Secondary Degree, College Diploma or the equivalent certifications and/or experience.
Capacity to work autonomously with limited supervision
Analytical problem solver that adheres to best practice solutions.
Candidates with the following technical knowledge/training will be preferred:
       oExperience with Microsoft Hyper-V.
       oAdvanced Microsoft (MCSE) or similar industry certifications.
       Experience with enterprise storage solutions
       oExperience with end to end management of Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange, Remote Desktop Services, Hyper-V and other enterprise offerings from Microsoft.
