Summer Student JobThe Town of Spiritwood is looking for three (3) exciting and passionate individuals to lead our Summer Rec Programs for 2016. The two (2) full time, and one (1) casual Summer Recreation Program Leaders will be responsible for the supervision and leadership of all program activities. This position will answer directly to the Recreation Director. Experience working with children is not required but considered an asset.
This is a seasonal/temporary position which runs from June 29th to August 26th. The successful candidates will be responsible for the following duties:
Coordinate and implement an 8 week summer program for youth.
Skills include the ability to plan, implement, oversee and supervise recreational activities.
35 Hour work week, July & August
$12 per hour
The successful candidate must:
Have a valid drivers license
Have a friendly and positive personality
Be able to work both independently and in a team
Pass a criminal record check
Be returning to school in the fall of 2016 (secondary or post-secondary)
