Description

Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise the daily work of assigned work crews, evaluating their performance and providing them with coaching and feedback to grow and develop their skills and abilities.
- Maximize work efforts of crew to get the job done in the most timely and efficient manner while promoting teamwork and cooperation.
- Ensure that all safety policies, procedures, and practices are followed.
- Provide on-the-job training  to crew members.
- All other duties assigned by Superintendent.
  
Job Qualifications:
- Must have extensive supervisory experience (5 or more years preferred).
- Must have passed a Construction Safety Training System (CSTS-09) course.
- Must be proficient in hand and power tools of all types.
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
- Must be able to climb vertically and work at heights in excess of 45 metres (~150 feet).
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 kilograms (~70 pounds) on a frequent basis.
- Must have a normal range of hearing and vision.
- Must abide by all of the company's field safety rules and work with Supervisors on performing all tasks in the safest manner.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Preferred Candidates:
Preferred candidates will possess one or more of the following skills:
- A good working knowledge of form building and all types of concrete work.
- Experience in the assembly and installation of grain handling and processing equipment.
- Ability to set up and operate welding equipment for all types of assignments and knowledge of when welding permits may be required.
- A good working knowledge of equipment rigging.
- Experience in blueprint reading to build structural floors and platforms to support various pieces of agricultural/milling equipment.

Hours:
M - F, 7:00am - 5:30pm.  Weekend work and additional daily work may be required during peak construction periods.
