This position will include clinic coverage for sick and vacation relief.
Responsibilities
Commitment to outstanding patient care which includes family and caregivers
Obtains patient history, educates patients on exam procedures and answers questions
Performs x-rays in a professional, timely and safe manner
Uses good judgment and perception when assessing cases to determine normal and abnormal findings
Ongoing knowledge of the day-to-day organization of the clinic
Assesses current and future workloads according to priority
Ensures equipment start up, performance checks and troubleshooting is completed
Ensures annual quality assurance is performed, if required
Contributes as a team player and maintains a positive work environment
Performs other non-technical duties
Complies with all RCA policies, procedures and x-ray equipment
Requirements
Graduate of Medical Radiologic Technologist from an accredited program recognized by SAMRT and CAMRT is required
Active member of the:
o Saskatchewan Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (SAMRT)
o Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
Committed to delivering excellent patient care with a patient focused attitude
Strong communication skills (verbal, written, reading and auditory)
Proficient user of Microsoft Office with experience utilizing a variety of medical software applications
Strong attention to detail is required
