Description

Since 1989 Westridge Construction Ltd. has earned
a solid reputation in the Saskatchewan
construction market performing General
Contracting, Construction Management and Design-
Build services for Industrial, Commercial and
Institutional projects.

Located in Regina this position offers a
competitive salary, an excellent pension, and health and welfare benefit package.

Responsible for overall on-site project
performance including management of costs,
schedule, quality and project status.  Maintain
excellent relationships with trade contractors,
consultants, designers and clients.  The ideal
candidate manages all field construction on a
small to large projects basis.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
-10+ years experience in a senior position
-must have experience constructing bridges, dams, lift stations, reservoirs, spillways, schools, light industrial projects, etc.
-must have extensive concrete knowledge/experience
-must have journeyperson status
-must have previously managed construction projects in excess of $35+ million
-extensive knowledge of concrete forming systems
-coach & train apprentice carpenters, supervise and mentor field personnel
-read blueprints and shop drawings
-quantity survey experience
-understand project forecasting
-work with construction change orders,notices &
revisions
-understand safe work practices, provide
leadership for safety & environmental programs
-knowledge of construction contracts
-organize & coordinate subtrade activities
-monitor job costing, quality, forecasting &
productivity
- implement and maintain construction plan
including scheduling and logistics
-field administration: timesheets, quantity reports, purchases, job diaries
