PLAYGROUND SUPERVISOR I & II
Non-Permanent - Summer
    
Applications are invited for a number of summer positions of Playground Supervisor I and II in the Community Services Department.  

Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
Assigned to a specific neighbourhood play area of the city, the playground supervisor will:

Work in cooperation with another playground supervisors in coordinating and implementing daily programs of games, special events, arts and crafts, stories, singing for children in the 5 to 12 age group;
Ensure safety standards are maintained;
Maintain accurate records and attend weekly staff meetings; and
Other duties as per job description.  

Required Qualifications:
Grade 12 (Candidates who have completed Grade 11 may be considered)
Valid Drivers License
Possess a mature attitude and a good sense of responsibility
First Aid and CPR C
Good organizational skills and good public relations skills
Must attend and complete an SPRA Play Leadership Workshop or have current Play Leader or Play Mentor certification through SPRA.  

All successful applicants will require a recent criminal record check prior to commencing employment with the City of Prince Albert.
