APPLY NOW: Recreational Director   Can-Am Gymnastics Club

Can-Am Gymnastics located in Saskatoon Saskatchewan is looking for a recreational specialist to fill the role of Recreational Director.  This position will be focused on upholding program integrity, creating new program initiatives, supervising and mentoring program staff and coaching gymnastic classes.  The ideal candidate will be a leader, innovative, have knowledge pertaining to the sport of gymnastics.  The ideal candidate is a compassionate individual who enjoys working with children.

Experience & Qualifications:

-    Experience or training in supervising a staff
-    Experience or training in working with children
-    Education or Kinesiology degree is an asset
-    Foundations (Level 1) Gymnastics Course
-    Valid First Aid and CPR certificate

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

-    Ability to plan, organize, direct, lead, and troubleshoot daily operations, services, and safety of recreation programs.
-    Knowledge and physical ability to teach recreational programs.
-    Ability to effectively mentor and lead staff
-    Skill in forward thinking and ability to identify problems or issues and develop effective solutions, resolve problems, and gain cooperation among interested groups.
-    Ability to work with a growing recreation program and participate in collaborative activities.

The candidate will be available to work full time including some evening hours and one weekend day.  Wage will be based on certification, skills and experience.  

Employment start date is negotiable, however the hired candidate will be available to begin with Can-Am no later than August 1, 2016.
