Solar Gardens is a unique and progressive garden centre specializing in succulents. We are building a new building dedicated to succulent plant tissue culture for the micropropagation and development of rare and novel succulent plant varieties. This position is 2 fold.
1. In terms of setting up the lab, this position will be in charge of the design, planning and management of the new lab facility to the operational stage.
2. In terms of operating the lab, this position will be in charge of the design, implementation and testing of all succulent plant tissue culture experiments. The second goal of this position is to develop novel succulent plant varieties using techniques including selective breeding and genetic engineering.
Applicants must be willing to sign a minimum 2 year contract
as well as proprietary and confidentiality agreements.
