Our ideal candidate has superior analytical and problem-solving skills. You will respond to inquiries regarding complaints of discrimination as required by The Saskatchewan Human Rights Code. Superior analytical abilities will allow you to: assess information, give advice about the complaint process, and make initial determinations on whether a human rights violation may have occurred under the Code. Strong interpersonal skills will enable you to gather relevant information, problem solve, and refer individuals in a prompt, tactful, effective and unbiased manner. Your experience in resolving conflict constructively will enable informal dispute resolution. Excellent writing skills will allow you to keep detailed notes, and draft complaint forms and agreements, etc. Exceptional organizational skills will allow you to respond effectively to public inquiries while managing a significant caseload.
Completion of a post-secondary degree in human justice, social work, or other relevant degree is an asset. Candidates with an equivalent combination of training and experience will be considered. Basic knowledge of provincial human rights legislation, and issues related to discrimination is required, and understanding of restorative justice concepts is essential.

Hourly rate Range: $30.48/hr start - $37.83/hr top
