The Director of Corporate Operation (DCO) will be responsible for the overall development and management of the Kahkewistahaw First Nation Economic Development ventures. The DCO will be accountable to the Board of Directors of the Kahkewistahaw Economic Management Corporation KEMC.
Qualifications:
A degree in Business Administration and/or Commerce with MBA preferred with several years equivalent training and work experience in a related field.
- Have a background in First Nations issues and economic development activities.
- Have several years' experience in senior level management and possess exceptional leadership, public relations, marketing skills, strategic thinking, strategic planning and managing joint business ventures.
- Have knowledge of Human Resource principals and activities.
- Must possess the ability to effectively plan, organize and implement objectives.
- Strong problem solving and a commitment to teamwork.
- Must have working knowledge of Quickbooks and have good computer skills.
- Must be able to take direction well.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- He/she would be part of the KEMC team and responsible for conducting all activities related in the business, financial and the daily operations for various Economic Development ventures of the Kahkewistahaw First Nation.
- He/she will be the key person and lead individual projects of the Kahkewistahaw First Nation.
