Jubilee Residences is searching for a temporary Director of the Care team at our Porteous Lodge site. We are searching for a compassionate , caring individual to empower the staff to make a positive difference in the lives of our residents. You will lead the nursing team in  resident directed care while creating a place to call home for the residents who live there.  This position is supported by the Director of Human Resources along with the Director of Staff Development and Therapies and the Quality and Safety Consultant. You will work collaboratively with the VP of Quality Care . An Administrate  Officer provides clerical support. The Director of Care is accountable and responsible  for the planning, direction and the evaluation of quality resident care in accordance  with the organizations Mission, Vision and Values. The Director of Care ensures optimum delivery of care through best practices and effective human resource management, utilization of the nursing process and functioning as integral part of the management team. You must be a Registered Nurse eligible for registration with the SRNA.
