As you work with this world leading, family-owned, manufacturer of engineered farm equipment in their Regina, SK location, you will perform senior accounting functions; performing full-cycle daily accounting tasks and timely account reconciliations by relying on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; enrollment in an accounting designation program
- 3 years in a Senior Accountant role in a multi-dealership retail environment
- A minimum of 5+ years of work related experience in full-cycle accounting
- Large percentage of career in private, for-profit, businesses
- Familiarity with agriculture; farming background preferred
Beneficial to Have:
- CMA or CPA designation
- Additional agribusiness background

Accountant Specific Skills
- Prepare financial information for individuals, departments or companies
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Examine accounting records
- Develop and maintain cost findings, reporting and internal control procedure
- Analyze financial documents and reports
Financial Auditor Specific Skills
- Recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices
- Prepare reports and audit findings
- Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures and internal control
