Facility: LA RONGE SITE
Job Description: Mamawetan Churchill River Health Region is now accepting applications for a temporary full-time regional dietitian, headquartered in La Ronge. The incumbent will be responsible to provide consultative, counseling, and education services to individuals, community groups, health professionals and other professional groups to improve and protect the nutritional status of the Regions population.

To qualify you will possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

A Bachelors Degree in Nutrition with a dietetic internship
Must be registered with the Saskatchewan Dietetic Association and the Dietitians of Canada
An ability to provide nutritional assessment and evaluation, diet counseling, and follow up to support t clients, families, community groups and inpatients of the La Ronge Health Centre and other communities within the Health Region
Develop, implement and evaluate individualized nutritional care plans, considering literacy level and relevant cultural, socio-economic and psychological factors
Provide consultation, information and education to La Ronge Health Centre Food Services
Coordinate services with other health professionals to prioritize nutritional needs within the Region
Develop resource material for individuals, the public and health professionals
Ability to work with other  team members in the care of clients with diabetes
Ability to work independently, be highly self-motivated and well organized
Ability to effectively manage client records and to develop statistical information related to services provided
Ability to travel to remote communities on gravel roads and in light aircraft on a regular basis
Valid drivers license
