Description

Saskatoon Health Region in partnership with the University of Saskatchewan, College of Medicine and Saskatchewan Cancer Agency seeks applications for a Gynecological Oncologist.  The physician will work within a multi-disciplinary team to provide safe patient centered care.  The scope of the role includes clinical services, administration and academic responsibilities.  Clinical service includes: new patient visits/consults and the appropriate medical/surgical care, associated follow-up visits and ongoing monitoring.  The Gynecological Oncologist undertakes colposcopic procedures and the associate treatment procedures resulting from colposcopy procedures for the early detection/prevention of cancer.  The position will have a community faculty appointment with the University of Saskatchewan and includes 20% non-clinical activities; i.e. teaching/research.

Qualifications/Requirements of the position  Interested applicants must hold their MD, be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan and be certified in Gynecological Oncology with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
