David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, is recruiting for Admin / Accounting Clerks based in Saskatoon since o ur customers are always looking for Admin support in their Accounting departments.
Accounting Clerks provide the necessary support to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial operations. Performing related duties as assigned by the supervisor, a successful Admin / Accounting clerk will need to complete tasks with limited supervision for routine work and function independently within a team environment.
The Role:
Accounts Payable processing and matching, coding of invoices
Accounts Receivable posting and filing
Bank Reconciliations and reconciliation of accounts
Data entry into accounting software
Clerical duties as required: filing and recording systems, photocopying
The Ideal Candidate:
1 - 3 years of admin / accounting experience required
Must be detail-oriented, accurate and organized
Ability to communicate well in English both verbally and written
Two year associate degree / diploma in Accounting or Admin
Proficiency with accounting software including SAP, Great Plains and/or JDEdwards
Excellent knowledge and experience with MS Office (Excel, Word)
Able to meet strict deadlines
Web proficiency
