Description

Saltcoats and District Daycare is looking for a summer student who must be returning to school in the fall of 2016, we are open Monday to Friday from 6am  6pm.  The center provides high quality childcare for infants, toddlers, and preschool children ages 6 weeks to 12 years of age.  The Daycare focuses on the Play and Exploration: Early Learning Program Guide.  The ECE position works closely with other staff, develops and maintains a healthy relationship with parents, and serves as a role model for the children.  Daily duties include planning and implementing programming, supervision, daily cleaning and any other duties assigned by the Director.

Education:
First Aid/CPR certificate would be an asset

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    Ability to be proactive and creative in    problem-solving and decision making.
    Knowledge of policies and procedures.
    Self-motivated and able to motivate others.
