Description

The Receptionist/Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for the provision of effective, efficient and timely accounts receivable and reception services for MD Ambulance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Reception duties, including greeting visitors and answering and transferring telephone calls.
- Processing all incoming and outgoing company mail.
- Handling cash, cheques, and electronic payments from all clients.
- Responding to inquiries about A/R customer accounts.
- Preparing daily bank deposits accurately and completely.
- Billing duties such as mailing invoices
- Billing all company sundry invoices.
- Handling all stage one customer concerns.
- Maintaining an effective filing system of all accounts receivable records for easy retrieval.
- Ensuring Health Information Privacy Act (HIPA) compliance in all activities.

Qualifications:
Education: Grade 12 education; Business training an asset.

Work Experience: Prior experience working in reception/customer service.

Computer Skills: Strong working knowledge of MS Office;  experience in a computerized accounting environment required.  

Core Competencies: Exceptional customer service skills.  Proven and effective written and verbal communication skills.  Demonstrated organizational skills.  Strong interpersonal skills.  Ability to work independently.  Ability to handle confidential information.
