Permanent Part Time Educational Assistant -. 92 FTE (27.5 hours/week)

A Part Time Educational Assistant is required at Burstall School beginning September 1, 2016

Desired Qualifications:
- Educational Assistant certification or early childhood training an asset
- Ability and experience in working with children
- Strong interpersonal and relationship skills, and an ability to work in a team environment
- A positive and flexible attitude to change
- Working with students on behaviour plans would be an asset

Duties may include but are not limited to the following:
- Willingness to meet the health and hygiene needs of children as required
- Based on needs of individual students, provide individual students with assistance in speech, motor, and language development and social and life skills
- Work as part of a team in development and implementation of Personal Program Plan
