The Opportunity
The Co-operators is looking for a Technical Analyst. Under general direction, the Technical Analyst provides technical support for existing company applications, working from specifications to maintain/upgrade moderately complex systems software and applications. This may include designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting system, application, or operational additions/modifications. Responsibility may include maintenance and support of systems for one area of business or for a single aspect of a system across the enterprise.

The successful candidate will find an exciting opportunity to join our team and work with the co-operators group of companies to help expand our SharePoint offering and collaboration in Office 365.

Your Qualifications
-Degree or diploma in Information Technology, or equivalent technical experience.
-4+ years of work experience in a technical environment.
-Working toward any required certification in specific area of practice.
-Has solid working knowledge of technology concepts as they relate to the system(s) being supported.
-Competent to work on all phases of systems/operational upgrades and enhancements. Technical Competencies
-Solid understanding of all technical components within the company enterprise.
-Solid understanding of the functionality of all relevant applications and technology.
-Good understanding of how to research technical solutions for medium complexity issues
-Proficient in technical structure and development practices for area assigned
-Proficient understanding of all business processes for all applications and technology. Competencies
-Sound analytical and problem resolution skills.
-Ability to communicate clearly using all mediums within IT, the business, and external service providers
-The successful candidate shall be subject to a Criminal Record and Consumer History background check as a condition of employment.
