The design manager is a creative with a drive for getting things done. You work with teams of designers to make creative ideas come to life. You have an eye for design and process. You like to work in Agile teams across projects. You are great at knowing how to get help people do their best work at scale.

Responsibilities

-Take ownership of the kickoff through completion of creative projects
-Manage the creative team and their workloads
-Ensure that designers have the opportunities they desire to shine
-Work with the creative director, CMO and product teams to ensure that the design organization is aligned with organizational priorities
-Forecast and budget for the needs of the creative team  
-Participate in the process as needed

Requirements

-3-5 years of experience with at least 2-3 years managing creative people
-Strong management and scoping experience
-Business or design degree
-Proficiency with presentations and spreadsheets
