Applications are being accepted for a Term position in French Studies or a cognate field at the Lecturer rank, effective July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2017.
The Department has teaching needs in the area of French Studies. Requirements for the position include: A completed or near-completed Ph.D. (at time of appointment) in French Studies or a cognate field, fluency in French, a potential for a strong research program and evidence of experience and effectiveness in teaching at the university level. In addition, the ideal candidate will demonstrate an understanding of the Catholic intellectual tradition.
The appointment will be made at the rank of Lecturer or Instructor depending on the successful candidates qualifications.
