We are currently seeking a Temporary Lab Operator I at our Esterhazy, SK K2 location. The successful candidate will safely and efficiently carry out the duties of Lab Operator I with minimum direction and supervision.

What will you be working on?
* Demonstrate strong organizational skills while managing multiple demands.
* Carry out all analysis/test procedures required for process control, shipping samples, environmental samples, mine samples, basic water analysis and other samples as required.
* Use lab computer system to update and maintain daily analysis data files.
* Operate analysis equipment and perform routine calibrations and adjustments.
* Calibrate basic analysis equipment.
* Prepare routine standard solutions.
* Assist in adapting present lab procedures to fit new requirements as required.
* Maintain all required laboratory statistics and records.

What is required for this role
* Post-secondary education in a chemistry related field, preferably completed two years Industrial Laboratory Technologist Course from a recognized institution.
* Preferably a minimum of one year related laboratory experience.
* Understanding of refinery process sample terminology.
* Working knowledge of at least one computer system (DOS, WINDOWS).
* Understanding of basic instrumental methods of analysis including Atomic Absorption, Automatic Titrators, Flame Photometry, pH meters, UV/Visible Spectrophotometer, X-RAY Fluorescence, etc.
* Employment is subject to successfully completing Mosaics pre-employment checks including criminal, drug and alcohol testing.
* Must be authorized to work in Canada.
