Description

Amec Foster Wheelers Mining business is seeking a Night Shift Construction Coordinator at our KSPC Legacy project site near Bethune, SK. This is a term position. Reporting to the Manager, Construction, and working alongside other team members locally, you will have the opportunity to provide support on a major project. Key Responsibilities
Establishing and monitoring contract budgets and schedules, including hourly rate and firm price contracts;
Supervising and coordinating the work of multiple contractors on site with respect to safety, quality of work, and adherence to applicable codes, standards, design documents and site standards;
Ensuring that Amec Foster Wheeler and client safety, health, and environment (HSE) programs are implemented and adhered to at all times;
Participating in the turnover process by assembling completion checklists and other construction records.

Role Requirements
8-15 years experience in the construction industry  Civil or Electrical, Mechanical or Piping or Structural Steel
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
Previous experience in a civil/structural engineering environment is an asset
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work in a team environment.
