Amec Foster Wheelers Mining business is seeking a Mechanical Construction Coordinator located at our Legacy project site near Bethune, SK. Reporting to the Area Manager, and supporting other team members locally, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to provide construction support on a major project. Key Responsibilities
Establishing and monitoring contract budgets and schedules, including hourly rate and firm price contracts
Supervising and coordinating the work of multiple contractors on site with respect to safety, quality of work, and adherence to applicable codes, standards, and design documents
Ensuring that Amec Foster Wheeler and client safety, health, and environment programs are implemented and adhered to at all times
Participating in the turnover process by assembling completion checklists and other construction records
All other duties as assigned

Role Requirements
A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry in a Mechanical focus/capacity  
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
Previous experience in an engineering environment is considered an asset
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work well in a team environment
