This is a one-year term position starting on either July 1, 2016 or when a successful candidate has been found. Must have a DVM or equivalent & be eligible for licensure to practice veterinary medicine in Saskatchewan. Requirements: ACVS board certification or completion of an ACVS approved residency, strong communication & interpersonal skills, proven ability of strong performance in didactic & clinical teaching are required. Assets: having a post-graduate degree & related research experience; experience in food animal surgery. Will share equally in the delivery of clinical service, undergraduate teaching, graduate teaching & out of hours emergency service. Quality instruction of undergraduate/graduate students is a key component; will be required to deliver a minimum of 20 undergraduate lectures & associated laboratory instruction. Scholarly activity & development of a clinical research program in collaboration with other faculty is not a requirement but would be encouraged. Salary band: Assistant Professor $93,293.00-112,109.00.
