Description

Responsible for the overall leadership of the Corporations Human Resources Unit and for developing and executing an organizational strategic workforce strategy.
Collaborate with the senior leadership team to identify critical business priorities;plan subsequent people strategies.
Provide leadership and manage strategies to increase employee engagement.
Develop and executes plans including performance management, succession management, talent management, career development, learning and development, recruitment, selection and retention, and employee recognition and appreciation.
Ensures the human resources system is effective and efficient in its design and operations.
Ensure human resources policies, procedures and programs are consistently administered, aligned with organizational direction, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Direction on labour relations and collective bargaining negotiations and human resources information management as well as classification and compensation, employee benefits and employee and family assistance program, diversity,employee health and wellness and safety.
A leader in change management.
Actively engage and participate as a member of SCICs Executive Management team.

The knowledge and skills required for this position are acquired through completion of a degree in Human Resources, Commerce, or Business Administration supplemented with a minimum of 10 years in human resources management.
