The outreach worker will assist band members to become aware of various employment and training opportunities available within the community; assist members with potential barriers they may be facing; connect them to suitable assistance they require; provide leadership and vision to the organization; assist in planning/coordinating the operation of the community services resource program.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
-coordinate and implement activities of the program
-plan and direct activities such as promotions and coordinating with other YQUS staff
-communicate with urban band members to inform them of all band programming/events
-oversee teh YQUS newsletter for the urban membership and YQFN members
-network with STC and other community organizations
-get involved with fundraising efforts for projects
-other duties assigned by the General Manager and Urban Portfolio Councilor
