Employment hours:  Minimum 40 hours/week, 8 hour days, opportunity for overtime hours 10 hour + days are common from May through till October.
Vacation: no paid vacation
Experience/Education: Minimum 2 year agriculture or farming experience.  Post secondary education related to agriculture is an asset

Job Description

C2 Farms is a progressive grain operation, consisting of 20,000 cultivated acres in the heart of the Regina Plains. C2 is a goal oriented organization, and strive to employ like minded people. We utilize leading edge agronomic practises and technology, and continually aim to raise the bar for yield and quality in Western Canada.  

Qualifications/Requirements:
    Formal training with focus on agriculture is an asset
    Minimum 2 years experience
    Willing to work long hours in peak seasons
    Valid drivers license

Responsibilities
    Develop work schedules, supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers
    Supervise seeding and harvesting operations
    Maintain quality control and production records
    Operate and maintain large grain machinery and equipment including but not limited to seeder, sprayer, swather, combine, grain cart, auger etc.
    Farm yard and equipment cleaning and maintenance
    Perform other duties as need arises and as directed by the Manager
