Industrial Mechanics Instructor - La Ronge

The Instructor is responsible for all aspects of delivering the Industrial Mechanics program to adult students registered in the program. Subjects include, but are not limited to: Drafting and Blueprint Reading; Lubrication, Bearings and Seals; Industrial Mechanics, Applied Certificate Trade Mathematics; Metallurgy and Fabrication; Riggings/Installation/ Alignment; Hand Tools; Assembly and Measuring Tools; Power Tools; Welding and Cutting; and Work Experience.
Additional responsibilities include: classroom management, taking attendance and submitting it to the Program Assistant on a regular basis, monitoring student progress and submitting reports to the Program Coordinator on a regular basis and other duties as assigned.
The minimal qualifications for this position are: A Red Seal Industrial Mechanics Ticket, Minimum of two years of industrial mechanics experience, Valid driver's license and strong communication and interpersonal skills. A relevant combination of education and experience may be considered.
