Description

Education

Successful completion of Grade 12 or equivalent training and experience in Transportation, Hospitality or Guest Services may be considered.

Experience

Three years of previous bus/van/shuttle driving experience. Experience in providing customer service.

Knowledge
* Knowledge of SIGA's guiding principles, structure, and First Nations culture.
* Knowledge of the geographic layout of Prince Albert and surrounding areas.
* Knowledge of vehicle maintenance requirements, transportation standards, vehicle safety, and related procedures.

Skills and Abilities

* Ability to communicate clearly and accurately, in both written and verbal form.
* Ability to provide exceptional hospitality based on First Nations values.
* Ability to exercise judgement regarding day-to-day priorities and situations.
* Ability to work independently, be reliable, and take personal responsibility for tasks and deadlines.
* Ability to work as part of a team, demonstrating respect and consideration for others.

Other Information
* Irregular hours including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
* Could be exposed to tobacco smoke and high noise levels
* Congested workplace
* Strict dress code
* Driving in inclement weather (rain, snow, ice)
* Sitting (1 ? 2hrs at a time)
* Driving (1 ? 2hrs at a time)
* Lifting (up to 20lbs, placing bus steps, lifting walkers and other patron items into the bus)
