Temporary Maintenance Clerk

Do you live in the Unity area and have your Grade 12 diploma? If so, our customer Compass Minerals has an opportunity for you!

Compass is looking to fill a maintenance clerk role. This role is temporary to start for a few months with the chance of extension for longer term.

Only interested candidates should apply. If you do not currently reside in or around the Unity area then there is no need to apply as logistically they cannot consider someone too far away from Unity.

The shifts are full-time working 7:00AM-3:30PM Monday to Friday.

The following is an abbreviated list of some duties and responsibilities:

- Maintain the maintenance work order system. - Generating and processing work orders as needed on a daily basis.
- Perform daily time entry for payroll requirements and generate time card reports.
- Create postings, notifications or meeting minutes as required.
- Maintain and update daily files in Excel.
- Generate safe work permits for contractors as well as maintenance personnel as needed.

Education and Experience:  

- Must have the ability to comfortably work with Word and Excel.
