Description

Eagle's Nest Youth Ranch provides 24 hour quality care, counseling and therapeutic social and educational programs to 86 of our most vulnerable youth in 3 Saskatchewan cities (Prince Albert, Saskatoon, North Battleford). We work collaboratively with youth, families, and community groups to facilitate individual growth and social change that will improve the lives of youth and families in our communities. Youth are provided with a home environment where caring adults provide routines and limits, nurturing and understanding, and teach values and skills required for successful living.

We are seeking a Houseparent for our North Battleford location. The Houseparent is responsible for maintaining a healthy meal plan by cooking and baking, a clean home, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for residents. The houseparent is required to take the residents on appointments and outings from time to time. The Houseparent will have a combination of education and experience related to working with youth and will possess personal attributes that facilitate the development of trusting and caring relationships with youth.  Previous experience preparing meals for a group of 10-20 people, Safe Food Handling certificate, Criminal Record Check, and a valid class 5 drivers license are required. In addition, we will need a minimum of three work related references.

Mandatory Employment Requirements are:
Clear Criminal Record Check with a vulnerable sector;
Valid Class 5 Drivers License & Abstract;
