Individual needed as soon as possible for a youth with a cognitive disability. Position will be 15-20 hours/week of support .A DEPENDABLE person with previous experience working with individuals who have cognitive disabilities will be considered an asset. A calm understanding personality type would be ideal.
Applicants must be able to maintain professional boundaries and handle confidential information. Must have good organization and time management skills, and be able to work independently. A valid driver's license and vehicle is required. Successful candidate will be subject to a criminal record check.
Responsibilities include:
-Initiating weekly contact with the youth
-Planning outings with the youth
-Working with the youth in the community and/or in the youth's home
