Transwest Air is accepting applications for Payroll Clerk at our La Ronge base.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Calculate deductions and pay
-Prepare employee payroll cheques
-Maintain payroll information by collecting, calculating and entering data
-Update payroll records
-Prepare reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages
-Reconcile payroll records through data collection and analysis
-Provide payroll information by answering questions and requests
-Maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting required changes
-Maintain employee confidence and protects payroll operations with the utmost confidentiality
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
-Formal training in payroll preparation, policies and procedures
-Confidentiality
-Follow instructions well
-Strong knowledge of Excel and Sage Accpac
-Fast learner
-Neat, accurate, with good verbal communication skills
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
-Able to work independently and follow direction
-Office organizational skills
-Proper phone etiquette
