Description

Under the supervision of the Manager of Keethanow Lumber and Furniture Store, you will be committed to achieving Keethanow Lumber/Hardware service standards and maximizing sales and gross profit margins while providing our customers with the best shopping experience. This position is responsible for providing effective day to day supervision and leadership of the Lumberyard/Hardware through visibility, involvement and interaction with customers and employees.

Duties and Responsibilities:

>Oversee yard associates, equipment operators, truck drivers and maintain contractor relationships.
>Supervising, scheduling and training lumberyard/Hardware staff.
>Ensure paperwork is complete and correct prior to deliveries leaving the yard.
>Monitor yard inventory and report to management product minimums for reorder.
>Receive incoming freight, accurately counting, documenting, pricing and stocking.
>Ensure company vehicles and equipment are serviced and maintained regularly.
>Efficient maintenance and safety of yard and warehouses.
>Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, planning and organizational skills are a must.
>Assist in ordering and implementing store merchandising programs.
>Develop and maintain excellent presentation of the lumberyard/Hardware and warehouses.

Requirements:

>Minimum of 5 years experience in the Lumber/Hardware Industry with exceptional customer service.
>Excellent supervisory and organizational skills, able to work independently and as part of a team.
>Valid class 5 driver?s license.
