- Manipulate or apply pressure to various parts of the body, hands and feet ;
- Advise client on the use of herbs for the treatment of conditions;
- Provide alternative forms of health care to the clients at their maternal periods,
such as aroma therapy and Tuina;
- Give consultation to the clients on the herb and fruit therapy and Chinese medicine
to help them reduce the uncomfortableness of being pregnant;
- Use finger pressure to specific spots on the client's body to promote relaxation and
reduce the stress of the pregnancy as part of the prenatal care;
- Instruct the parents on infant massage;
- Visit the puerperal client and provide postpartum recovery therapy;
- Maintain and restore the holistic health of clients.
