Powerhouse Retail Services is looking for fashion apparel merchandising superstars to join our team. As a Powerhouse Fashion Merchandiser Representative you will be part of a nationwide team who service vendors representing product such as Levis, Tommy Hilfiger and Hugo Boss in retailers - Hudsons Bay, Sears and Walmart.
As a field merchandising contractor with Powerhouse you will have the opportunity to utilize your merchandising experience, express your passion for fashion and work flexible hours with top brands. This role is a self-employment opportunity which involves completing merchandising projects with various deadlines throughout the month.
Assignments include, but not limited to:
Replenishing various fashion apparel products within retailers
Placing product to plan-o-gram
Product returns
Installing signage
Other basic merchandising services
All scheduled hours are variable each month and are to be completed between 9am 5pm Monday through Friday only, no weekends, no evenings.
Successful contractors will possess the following experience, skills and abilities:
Fashion Marketing or Merchandising diploma preferred
2-3 years merchandising experience working within fashion apparel
Previous freelance/contract experience preferred
Solid merchandising abilities: implementing planograms, shop reflows, POS installs, replenishing and other services
Proven ability to improvise and overcome product/store layout barriers to meet objectives
Organized with attention to detail coupled with solid time management and project management skills
Experience working with little supervision while meeting quality standards and deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to present professionally
Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs
