Description

Edge Transportation Services Ltd., a member of Siemens Transportation Group Inc., requires a Heavy Haul Manager for their Saskatoon, SK location.

Responsibilities
    Monitor routing information, permits and pilot cars
    Direct equipment allocation and assign units to drivers
    Oversee equipment maintenance and safety certifications
    Enforce operational policies and procedures
    Rate all heavy haul requests, quotes and inquiries
    Develop and maintain daily pick-up and delivery schedules
    Solicit new business opportunities and build on existing relationships
    Identify current trends and recommend improvements
    Review customs and cross-border programs

Qualifications
    3-5 years in the transportation field (heavy haul preferred)
    2-3 years in a supervisory role
    Excellent communication skills
    Proven ability to implement and maintain key performance indexes
    Demonstrated team-building methods and techniques
    Driving experience is preferred
    Sales experience is an asset
