Horizon School Division #205 is seeking an experienced candidate to provide administrative assistance and support to the Manager of Facility Services.
This continuing, out-of-scope, position commences as soon as possible. This position is 7.5 hours per day and is located in our Humboldt Central Office.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
Post-secondary education in business administration from a recognized educational institution or 3-5 years of direct work experience in an administrative capacity will be considered an asset;
Ability to design, develop and interpret data presented through graphs, software and spreadsheets;
Ability to manage budgets, conduct research for proposed expenditures and validate expense claims;
Ability to work as a team player and work with all levels of internal management and staff as well as parents, community, outside clients and vendors;
Provide support for the research, development and completion of reports that contain confidential information that may be requested for multiple audiences;
Demonstrated knowledge of computer systems and experience with software applications;
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
Ability to meet agreed upon and imposed deadlines;
Self-directed and service oriented.
