Payment Specialist - Regina Head Office
As a Payment Specialist, your major responsibilities include identifying payment issues and needs, responding to telephone inquiries regarding complex claim from WCB clients, preparing wage loss payments, and issuing medical and travel expenses to clients. Other responsibilities include verifying and documenting client information, and updating claim files as information is received.
Qualifications:
Two years successfully completed post-secondary education in business, health care, education or social sciences and demonstrated ability to do the following:
- Mathematical skills with a high degree of accuracy
- Knowledge of policies and procedures
- To organize work
- Set priorities
- Complete work within established time frames
- Oral and written communication skills
- Problem solving ability
- To make sound decisions with minimal supervision
