Job Description: The Saskatoon Convalescent Home (HOME) in Saskatoon Saskatchewan is a 60-bed long-term care facility affiliated with the Saskatoon Health Region.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible to the Board of Directors for the overall management of the HOME, effectively using people, financial and other community resources and working collaboratively with the HOMEs stakeholders and partners to deliver resident driven care to residents and community day care participants. The CEO will plan, organize, direct and evaluate all aspects of the HOMEs operations in order to fulfill its mission, vision, values and strategic directions and to achieve and maintain resident driven care in accordance with policies established by the Board of Directors and applicable provincial health standards.
Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Health Care Administration or Related Field
Experience
A minimum of 8 years of progressive senior management experience.  Experience in long term care an asset.

Alternatively, an acceptable combination of relevant education, experience and demonstrated management abilities.
Expected Start Date: March 1, 2016
FTE: 1.00

Hours of Work: Shift Information: Days
In a 3 week rotation: 15 shifts of 7.50 hours
