Description

The Master Electrician, reporting to the Foreman Building Operations, will perform a variety of tasks related to the operation and maintenance of the City of Lloydminsters electrical systems, fixtures and equipment at all City facilities.  City facilities include but are not limited to, Arenas, Swimming Pools, Water treatment plants, Airport and Sports Centres, with a huge variety in the types of Electrical work carried out.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have Master Electrician Certificate of Competency and able to obtain permits in Saskatchewan and Alberta.
Five years experience in Electrical Maintenance and Commercial Installation is mandatory.
Considerable experience in a wide variety of commercial and industrial electrical work as it applies to power distribution and controls for facilities and process equipment such as overhead cranes, lighting, fire protection systems, HVAC, conveyors, pumps, fans, gas detection systems etc.
Ability to layout and install unique electrical systems for special projects. This will require the ability to read and work from blueprints and electrical schematics.
Must have a valid Class 5 vehicle operator's license with a clean driving record.  A mandatory drivers abstract is to be provided with application submission.
This position requires a satisfactory criminal record check prior to start date.
