FCL invites applications for the position of Culinary Innovation Manager in our Home Office located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

The Culinary Innovation Manager is responsible for the management of Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) Food Department'ss Culinary strategy. This includes developing and providing leadership for all operational, marketing, and category development activities related to the Co-operative Retailing System (CRS) culinary program. The Culinary Innovation Manager will assist with new product innovation in prepared foods, meat, bakery, and store brands. They will lead all Food Departments in meal and recipe development, prepared food development, and the C-Store transfer program. The nutritionist function of this position ensures that products provide appealing taste, have healthy-eating attributes that promote a healthy lifestyle; the incumbent is the chief architect of the CRS strategy to become known as food experts. This position will develop and introduce fresh products that are on trend, consumer centric, and demanded by our customers. The Culinary Innovation Manager assists the Fresh Food Department with nutritional labelling, product claims, product and program development, and in the development store brands products.

The successful candidate will have a Culinary Arts Diploma or a University Degree preferably in Food Science or Nutrition and 5-7 years of culinary experience in the food industry. Red Seal Chef is preferred.
