Educational Requirements:
Successful completion of education in a Human Services Field
Degree preferred in the social sciences with a relevant formal course of instruction such as a Certificate or Degree in Social Work, Diploma or Certificate in Addictions; Completion of Diploma in Rehabilitation Practitioner
Consideration will be given to equivalency in education and experience.
Experience:
No less than two years in a setting with young adults and youth who are at risk for alcohol/drug dependency and/or experience severe and persistent mental illness and/or concurrent disorders
Training:
Completion of PART, CPR, and FIRST AID
Valid Drivers License Required
Workers in this position are expected to participate in training provided through the Association.
Hours of Work:
Project hours as scheduled. Not more than 160 hours in a four week period (37.5 hours per wk)
Shift schedule for this project will start as follows:
Sample Schedule
Workers scheduled Wednesday, Thursday,Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoon/evenings
i.e. 3 pm - 11 pm
Rate of Pay:
Project assigned wage is 23.00 per hour

Wakamow Manor/McNiven Manor at 206 Coteau Street East is the base sight
Most work will be conducted in the community where clients live and/or congregate or in the environments determined by the Case Managers. This will include Riverside Mission.
