Facility: AMBULANCE - SHR
Job Description: The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) reports to the Director of Emergency Medical Services and when on site in a facility to the designated Supervisor/Charge Nurse.  EMTs provide direct pre-hospital, emergency and patient care.  They assist with the operations of the facilities they serve within the Sunrise Health Region. The only restriction that has been identified governing their participation in these departments is; No duties can restrict them from responding immediately to any ambulance calls.  EMTs shall abide by the Sunrise Health Region and its Affiliates Mission, Vision, Values, Policies and Procedures.
Required Qualifications

Valid Class 4 drivers license
Clean Driver's Abstract
CMA accredited Pre-Hospital Care Program at the Primary Care Paramedic (PCP/EMT/ICP/EMT-A) level
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics at the PCP/EMT level
Other Information

Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement

Must be certified at the 2011 NOCP Level

FTE: 0.82

Hours of Work: Shift Information: Days, Evenings, Weekends, On Call
464.00 hours per 15 week rotation: 58 shifts of 8.00 hours
