Director of Finance - Regens Group of Companies
Prepares and reviews monthly and annual financial information for the Regens group of companies. Duties to include full cycle financial accounting, AR, AP, Payroll, bank reconciliations, asset tracking and year end procedures for corporate tax reporting. Responsible for accurate and timely remittances to Canada Revenue Agency and the Minister of Finance. Prepares annual budgets and reviews to actual results. Analyzes business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments and obligations. Prepares cost analysis for all new projects to determine financial viability and profitability. Reports to the General Manager and President of the company on a regular basis.
Teamwork, organization skills, planning, communication and customer service skills are needed in this position.
Education: Professional Accounting Designation, or a minimum of an Accounting Diploma with a minimum of 3 years of experience gained through relevant employment.
Wages are negotiable depending on education and experience.
