Description

The Systems Coordinator develops, implements, maintains and coordinates systems for a number of areas for the farm. Data management is a fundamental responsibility as well as executing payroll. Working with the owners and the Farm Manager, this position will gain an understanding where systems can provide value and develop the systems accordingly. Use of spreadsheets, data bases, and/or other computer systems is key. This position will coordinate a source of sound data that can be used by others for decisions. This is a new position that is a part of the companys growth and stability strategy.
This job will enable you to:
    Use your systems, data base and/or Excel skills to build and coordinate new inventory and other systems;
    Work without someone over your shoulder or micro managing you;
    Work with a stable and good group of farm workers;
    Have a great annual income for a part-time position; and
    Flexibility to accommodate your schedule and the farms needs.
The best Systems Coordinator will be keen on creating and maintaining systems. The Coordinator will be methodical and have good communication skills so that they are successful in explaining and implementing the new systems. Math literacy and accuracy is required. A strong understanding of Excel or other technical tools that could be used in the systems is required. Working independently and being self-motivated and disciplined is key as this position will often work independently without direct supervision. Understanding farm and/or shop operations is an asset. Travel to the main farm site is required.
Babich Farms is a large family grain farm that seeds over 52,000 acres within a relatively close proximity. The farm operation is owned by four family farm corporations, with two of those owners being a key part of the farms day to day operations.
