Parkland College is seeking a temporary full-time Human Resource (HR) Generalist at our Yorkton Campus commencing as soon as possible to February 28, 2017.
The Opportunity:
The HR Generalist is responsible for providing Human Resource services in a variety of functional areas including:
- Consult and advise on interpretation and administration of policies, legislation, and the Collective Bargaining Agreement;
- Manage full recruitment cycle and implement proactive recruitment strategies in partnership with hiring supervisors; and
- Provide guidance on performance management, progressive discipline, employee and labour relations, leave of absence and return to work management, conflict resolution, professional development, etc.
The Human Resource Generalist will contribute to ongoing initiatives to improve HR processes and implement best practices that support our strategic direction and organizational priorities.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management.
- Two years experience in similar Human Resource related position.
- A suitable combination of post-secondary education and experience may be considered for this position.
